Father's Day 2023 Recap
Perfect weather, mouthwatering Schnitzel, delicious cakes and happy faces everywhere. Thank you to all our guest and of course our volunteers for making this a very special day by serving up over 100 home-cooked meals.
We are proud to be part of our local community and happy to see that interest in our events remains very strong. It is our goal to share and preserve our traditions, connect with community and provide a fun and welcoming environment for all our guests.

Winner of the Latrobe City 2023 Event of the Year is Club Astoria - German Club Morwell - 20th Oktoberfest! 🎉🥳🎊

Club Astoria Morwell celebrated its 65th birthday in 2023, along with its 20th Oktoberfest celebration. Organised over ten months and supported by over 50 volunteers from the committee and the club, Oktoberfest celebrates the marriage of Prince and Princess Therese back in Munich, Germany.
This event takes place within the club grounds and clubrooms and features house made cakes and coffee, house made sauerkraut, potato cakes, schnitzel and kranksies, bratwurst, knackwurst and German beverages. Event attendees often wear traditional German costumes, adding to the overall atmosphere of the event.
Club Astoria’s Oktoberfest is a much-loved event within the community and a credit to the hard-working committee and members.

Sunday Session March 19 2023
A pleasant Sunday afternoon was held on 19th March in the Schlmmer Halle and the grounds of Club Astoria. It was well attended and wonderfully received.
The weather was on our side, the food and drink was plentiful and the entertainment was uplifting, which encouraged many members and guests to attend. Due to it’s success, we shall hopefully present more of these events in the warmer months.
